Sacristy - between the Basilica and the Chapel of Our Lady's vestry, built in the years 1653 -1659. Her vault frescoes adorn made in the late seventeenth century by Charles Dankwart. Treasury - is located above the sacristy. It was built in the second half of the nineteenth century. Its interior is designed by the architect Adam Szyszko-Bohusz. History:

Jasna Góra Monastery has been founded by Prince Ladislaus of Opole for imported from Hungary, the Pauline Order. Foundation Gala was held in 1382. and two years later, Prince Wladyslaw offered monastery imported from Rus, surrounded by then worship and reverence, the Miraculous Image of Our Lady with the Child. According to tradition the image of the Mother of God was painted by St.. Luke the Evangelist on a tabletop, where Holy Family prayed and ate meals.
Studies have shown, however, that image was originally a Byzantine icon, dating from the VI-VIII., Which the Rus were brought to Jasna Gora. In 1655 the siege of Jasna Gora durable Swedish troops are described, inter alia, in "The Deluge" by Henryk Sienkiewicz. The tradition of pilgrimage to Jasna Gora Sanctuary dates back to the beginnings of existence, that is, 1382. Assumed.
